This non-governmental organization, which seeks to fight against online hate and misinformation, has published a report concerning the presence of neo-Nazi advertisements on the social network Facebook. The report states that a neo-Nazi group based in Ukraine with about 80,000 Facebook followers is funding itself via the platform by using it to commercialize various products, including clothing displaying Nazi symbols. The report underlines Facebook’s responsibility in this matter, stating that the social network was warned of the presence of these neo-Nazi advertisements on their platform two years ago but evidently failed to take action.
