A seven-month investigation by the Associated Press and Oxford Internet Institute examines a propaganda campaign enacted by the Chinese Communist Party, which used an “army of fake accounts” in order to retweet Chinese diplomats and state media outlets tens of thousands of times. These tweets have potentially reached hundreds of millions of people.
